| Favourite thing about competing? | I love seeing the hard work in training pay off on race day, the feeling of being nervous and being excited before a race, the challenge it brings and l love being down the beach with so many of your friends. |
| Role model and why? | I have so many, I really draw a lot of inspiration from a lot of amazing people. I am always looking at sports people who have mastered their craft, but remain really great people outside of that. This past season Tom Brady has been a big one that I’ve learned a lot from. |
| What inspires you to be your best? | I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing things come together and love the challenge that comes with that as it isn’t an easy road. So that in itself inspires me. But now, more than ever I do it for my family, for Danny, they inspire me every day. I want Danny growing up knowing that it’s important to believe in something and work hard for it. |
| Do you have a routine to help you get into your best-focused state? | My routine is a chat to my coach Zayne, give Kel and Danny a hug and kiss then take a few moments to myself. This is just to bring myself back to being in the present moment and focus on what I have to do. |
| Career highlight? | Qualifying for the Nutri Grain Ironman Series in 2009, it was always my goal to be a professional Ironman so when I made it, I couldn’t have been happier. Last season was also so rewarding, having Danny there as I finally got an Australian Ironman Title. |
| Goal for this season? | To race with no fear. To leave it all out there, no stone unturned. To enjoy the opportunities we have to race. |

Favourite food to eat the night before a big competition? |
Can never really beat Steak and Veggies. |

Favourite song to listen to prior to competing or during training? |
I listen to quite a wide variety of music when I’m training. It all depends on my mood. Anything from the Foo fighters to Camelphat. |

Why do you choose Engine? |
As an ironman, Engine makes my life easier. They are so comfortable and reliable and I know when I turn up to train or race, they’ve got me covered (literally). Engine give you that extra 1% you're always searching for. |
| Favourite Engine Product? Why? | Shredskins. I literally wear them every single day. Love to train in them and love to race in them. |
