Where have you been spending your time and who with?
I’ve been spending all of my time on the Gold Coast with Matt and my family.
How have you been keeping Active?
I have been keeping active by trying to include some exercise into my daily routine. I have been surfing, catching waves on my board, running, walking and doing some at home work outs.
What has a ‘normal’ day looked like?
At the moment I am making the most of my sleep ins before taking a walk to the beach or doing some exercise. I have been trying to keep active by walking, surfing, running and doing at home workouts. I try to do one of these a day, it helps me to feel like I have achieved something throughout the day during these strange times. With a little more time on my hands I have had the opportunity focus on my uni subjects as well and smash through lots of assignments. I am definitely making the most of the extra Netflix time too, after a busy year. it’s nice to take a step back and relax!
Short term goals?
Stay happy and keep my body moving!
I don’t overly enjoy running but I am trying to set myself a challenge of running 100km in May!
Any new hobbies?
No new hobbies yet but Matt and I have been doing a fair few projects around the house so I am picking up some new skills along the way!
What are you most excited about doing again?
I’m excited to get back into a routine and do what I love again. Training for me isn’t just about becoming a better athlete it’s also about socialising with like-minded people and that is something I definitely miss!
I am also excited to go out and enjoy a few drinks with my friends.
